Lilith's Nursery
A downloadable game
Lilith's Nursery is pregnancy themed tower defense game. You will need to prevent enemies from retaking the captured princess by placing defenders around your nursery. Gain nursery spores from defeating enemies to give birth to demon eggs and upgrade your defenders.
(Note: This game was made for the 2023 Weight Gaming Game Jam. There are likely some bugs and unbalanced towers/enemies that will get fixed after the jam judges look over the game.)

Pro tip for people struggling with the download stopping at a certain point! If the download ends with the .zip file not being as large as it should, and extracting it doesn't work properly and the game doesn't play, try the following:
1. Clear your browser cache
2. Restart PC
3. Try download again
Before I did this, Windows 10's built in extractor thought the zip file was empty and playing the game was impossible. After doing those steps, I was able to finish the entire download and windows was able to actually extract the files. Godspeed!

Bugs and Oddities are fine and expected.
What isn't either fine or expected is a TD were you if you leave the window the whole game pauses.
What are the controls??? I can't find them anywhere.

I know you said you'll fix the game after the judgement day, but just posting a bug: On endless mode i had on the 2nd wave some catgirls spawn only to get a "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'updateTransform' of null"
So you're going to wait until after the game has been judged by the judges before changing it and fixing the bugs? I can respect that. Can you tell me when the Weight Gaming Game Jam is supposed to end so I'll know when the game can be fixed and become free of bugs? I like the look of this game, but I'd rather wait until it's able to be fixed before downloading it.
Most of the bugs do not really detract from the gameplay. The only major one is the no enemies bug in endless, but that's the endgame so you can still complete the entire story without running into it. Other than that, just use Succubi/Demons instead of Imps to defend against flyers and you won't run into any real issues with bugs.

Having this problem as well... it isn't very pleasant.
Same. The 'endless' wave is not endless at all. It just stops. And it was implied that we could continue making Lilith's belly even better after stage #5. If it's possible, we need to be told how.

How do you beat the 4th level?
If you're struggling at the start, try one of the purchasable trap items from the succubus in the hub
ok so ive beaten whats available and heres my thoughts
1) when your in the tutorial DO NOT CLICK THE CIRCLE it turns out you can buy an egg ending your run as you now have no money to buy protection
2)read the descriptions of monsters you use it can help or hurt that run
3) do not buy the kaiju upgrade it literally blocks 1/3 the room so you cant see
4) the imp mother upgrade only upgrades to +1 then after for some reason changes to a different monsters upgrade
5)at the very end in the endless mode i encountered a bug where even though the round was started it never started
6) all in all a pretty solid start for a new title though i would like to see more added to the tutorial phase so people dont make the same mistakes i did
How do read the descriptions? I can't find a button that opens a menu for that, much less for saving.
Fun game.
Quality of life:
The torch and the egg laying zone should show above other sprites. Particularly the Kaiju spite.
There should be way to automatically spawn the next wave on the Endless level. The endless level should spawn enemies faster.
The Imp Mother can evolve into a +1 Tentacle. Seems like a bug. A variety of the demons say they can attack only ground, but it appears they can attack anything.

What do you do in this game? I manged to collect some demon eggs but I don't know what to do with them, and it doesn't tell me how to defend the core, it just throws me in.
Ok, just restarted, it look like i had a glitch where I didn't get any money so I couldn't do anything. Good now.

different question can you make the princess bigger or that not implemented yet?
The princess's sprite grows after each new level is cleared successfully, I believe.
Edit: or maybe it has to do with giving her the eggs, that would make sense... if so, it's not after every egg.
After reaching the last level, you can continue to upgrade her. Every 100+ Hit points results in a larger sprite. That said I currently only have two larger sprites past the level 5 nursery.
Oh, that's hilarious because I gave up on that after 9 more seeds after the last level since that's the max you can buy with 99 gems

I think some of the upgrades unintentionally nerf stats. For example, the poison and slow demon upgrades reduce the demon's range to 1. There are a fair few other examples as well.
